We are pleased that we were able to make the following announcement in each of our churches this morning, Sunday 28th September 2025.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of the Revd Dr Julian Davies to the post of Vicar of the Benefice of Winscombe and Sandford with Churchill. This appointment is subject to enhanced DBS clearance. We look forward to welcoming Julian and to his licensing which will probably be held on 15th January 2026. We hold Julian and his family and our parishes in our prayers at this time of transition. Julian says, ‘I am thrilled to be appointed as the vicar of Winscombe, Sandford and Churchill. I very much look forward to meeting and working with everyone in the three churches and being a part of these communities in this beautiful part of North Somerset.’

Monthly Market
Did you know that the St James’s Events team is now helping to run the monthly market with all the money raised from the rental of the stalls and profit on selling food and drinks going to Church Funds. Please come along and support the Events Team, browse the stalls and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and perhaps a bacon roll or toasted tea cake.
