Our Vision
This is our vision for the next 5 years (2021 – 2026)
We are excited about our vision for the future of our churches within the local community which has been prayerfully discerned by the PCC over the past few months and launched at our APCM on 24th May 2021.

Reaching
To boldly go into all the world and share the love of Christ, taking the church to people.
Reaching out and going out into the Community around us.
”Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Welcoming
A generosity of spirit in joyously welcoming and accepting people.
“When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind and you will be blessed.”

Caring
Is multi faceted and about looking after our people, our planet, our local community and our neighbours further afield.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

Serving
In humility, rolling our sleeves up and being prepared to get our hands dirty in simple acts of unconditional love.
“I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.”
John 13:15-17
Teaching
Jesus didn’t call us to make converts, but make disciples.
Fulfilling our responsibility for spiritually nurturing the people God has placed into our care.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations ……….. and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:20
